Courses take candidates through all the training and examination requirements of the internationally recognised IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) certification scheme. The duration of the course is 5 Days with the 5th Day being assessed by an IRATA approved independent assessor.
IRATA LEVEL 1 is the entry-level qualification to get you started in the industry. You will need to be over the age of 18 and physically fit. You will learn the techniques for accessing extreme locations on a pre-rigged rope access system along with some basic rescue techniques.
IRATA LEVEL 2 candidates will have gained a minimum 1,000 hours of varied experience at level 1 over a minimum of 12 months. You will be refreshed on basic techniques and learn more advanced rigging and rescue systems together with valuable industrial legislation.
IRATA LEVEL 3 candidates will have a further minimum 1,000 hours of varied experience at level 2, again over a minimum of 12 months and be ready to take on complete rope access supervision of rope access work sites. You will become competent in advanced rigging and rescue systems and gain a thorough understanding of current industrial legislation and industrial best practice.
